The 10th Annual Translational Stem Cell Research Conference provided the eagle-i Network with a platform that reinforced the collaboration between eagle-i and NYSCF. Scott Noggle of NYSCF asserted on various occasions the commitment of NYSCF to making information about the lines they’ve developed available to the community, and how eagle-i has allowed them to accomplish that goal. Through Noggle’s talk and subsequent panel discussion eagle-i was recognized as a clear solution to problems of coordination among stem cell developers, distributors and users.
eagle-i Network’s Lead Resource Navigator, Richard Pearse presented a poster detailing our collaboration with WiCell and announcing the Large Scale Release of iPSC Lines and Data from the NHLBI: “Next-Generation Genetic Association Studies” project. This presentation allowed eagle-i to form deeper connections with external scientists, biobank representatives and funding administrators.
During the NYSCF Repository & eagle-i Partnership meeting eagle-i was able to form direct contact with the recipients of eagle-i resource requests, retrieve feedback about both Tributary and Exchange facilitator contact formats, and plan for future coordination with their team.
