Our first major additions to Special Collections are the monoclonal antibodies provided by the Developmental Studies Hybridoma Bank (DSHB) at the University of Iowa. The DSHB was started with funding from NICHHD with the mission of storing and distributing, at cost, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and the hybridoma cell lines that produce the antibodies. The DSHB currently has over 1,400 mAbs and hybridomas, and has expanded their stock by 25% in the past two years.
To see the resources offered by the DSHB, select Special Collections from the institution list in the eagle-i search application, or simply click here. If you are interested in ordering from the DSHB, we link from eagle-i to their catalog for convenience.
Is this addition of DSHB data useful? Are there other resource repositories you’d like to see in eagle-i? Let us know at info “at” eagle-i.org.
